August Entertainment
You don’t have to spend tons of money or sit on a plane for hour after hour to experience the essence of Hawaii – on Monday August 16th at two o’clock you can head to the Wilsonville Luau to experience authentic Hawaiian entertainment. Native Hawaiian entertainer Francis Doo will be on hand to masterfully play his ukulele bring the sounds of Hawaii right here to the Wilsonville. The moment the Francis Doo begins to play and sing, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported from Oregon onto the white, sandy beaches of the fiftieth state – this is certainly an event that you won’t want to miss.
While we’re on the subject of fine entertainment, you may also want to mark your calendars for Saturday August 21st to see the West Linn Community Chorus. The Great Room will surely be alive and hopping with all of your favorite music styles as the West Linn Community Chorus takes center stage, this talented group of singers and entertainers is accustomed to belting out pop, jazz, Americana, folk tunes and more – so there will most certainly be something for everyone during the performance.
Don’t forget to head out to the Les Schwab parking lot in Wilsonville this Sunday (August 15th) for the Alzheimer’s fundraiser car wash. Between 10:00 and 2:00 you can get your car a bath and help a great cause for a monetary donation of your choice.
