Get Patriotic Early
Save the date of July second on your calendar and start your Independence Day celebration just a little bit early at the Wilsonville. We are having a special lunch time barbecue in the Courtyard and the Great Room that will be filled with tasty food and tons of fun and will surely be a fantastic way to kick off the holiday weekend. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to spend time with friends and celebrate the rich history of the country you love.
Wednesday July 7th there will be a hearing care specialist on site conducting free hearing evaluations and free hearing aid maintenance to residents. The hearing aid clinic will take place between ten a.m. and one p.m. in the Great Room. Walk-ins will be accepted but appointments can be set with Jan and are preferred. This will be a great opportunity for a professional assessment of your hearing and to have a trained set of hands make sure that your hearing aid is functioning just as it should.
Also on July 7th at 6:30 p.m. an Alzheimer support group will meet in the Vlahos Theater. There will be discussion focusing on the progression of the disease and helpful information for family and friends on coping with the diagnosis and dealing with Alzheimer’s. This will be a great learning tool with valuable information provided by people with real world experience on a topic that can be very difficult to deal with.
Last but not least – don’t forget to mark your calendar every Thursday at two o’clock for the live music/entertainment and ice cream social provided to Wilsonville residents free of charge. You can get out of the weather and beat the heat of the Summer with some cool tunes and some even cooler ice cream!
